A relationship with RowanOak Capital begins with an effort to build a clear understanding of a clients' personal financial situation, goals and objectives. With this knowledge in hand, we begin a process of evaluation, education and implementation of appropriate financial strategies to address all aspects of a client's finances including cash flow management, investment management and tax and estate planning.

We strive to establish and maintain long-term relationships serving as our client's wealth management advisor. To fulfill this role, we co-ordinate the activities of other professional advisors, including lawyers and accountants whenever neccessary. We also maintain an extensive network of professional advisors whom we consult as required.

Each client account is monitored on an ongoing basis and evaluated regularly in the context of the ever changing economic environment. In addition, regular meetings are conducted to review our client's circumstances and make appropriate adjustments if needed.

Our first goal is to establish and define our client-advisor relationship by:

  • Explaining the overall planning process
  • Highlighting and documenting the services we can provide
  • Defining responsibilities - ours and yours
  • Discussing compensation
  • Defining our ongoing decision making process
